The
foremost Civilian governor of Anambra State, Dr. Chukwuemeka Ezeife and other
prominent statesmen of Anambra State have intervened in the rift between oil
mogul, Prince Arthur Eze and Governor Willie Obiano.

formed a 13-man committee, inaugurated under The Anambra State Elders and
Stakeholders Forum. This committee would also look into the rift between the
Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr. Chris Ngige and Prince Arthur Eze. The

13 suspended traditional rulers.

The

Government Area, described the quarrel between Obiano and Eze as an avoidable
distraction. Justice Anthony Iguh, national president of the forum and former
justice of the supreme court told journalists that the stakeholders of the
state will not be quiet while distinguished sons of the state engaged in a war
of words which detracted from the prestige of the state.

The
peace committee comprised a retired Chief Judge of Anambra State, Justice G.U.
Ononiba as chairman and former Vice Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University,
Awka Prof Pita Ejiofor as secretary.
