Things are beginning to turn around for the favour of the agitating Biafrans under Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) as the Igbo group gives backing to continue October’s civil disobedience.
The Igbo body, Ohanaeze Ndigbo declared support for IPOB’s sit at home order to be observed on October 1st, 2020.
According to IPOB, the members both home and in the diaspora will join their counterparts, calling for the Oduduwa Republic to remain in the house as Nigeria marks its 60 years Independence Anniversary.
In a statement signed and made public by IPOB media and publicity secretary, Emma Powerful on Wednesday revealed that the reason to boycott Nigeria’s Anniversary was to avert pending bloodbath to unleashed in the region by terrorist groups.
It pointed out that the group is using the opportunity to uncover to the world how disastrously intolerable human existence has turned in Nigeria, including terrorism, bad leadership and corruption.
