October 1st; IPOB declares sit-at-home

The Indigenous People Of Biafra, IPOB, has declared a sit at home come October 1st.

Leader of the Biafran group Mazi Nnamdi Kanu made this announcement during an interactive broadcast on Friday, 18th September 2020.

October 1st is known to be Independence day and has been on celebration since Nigeria’s independence in 1960.

Nigeria will mark her 60th year of independence on 1st October, and was expected to be celebrated across the country.

However, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has ordered all the eastern regions to observe a sit at home on that day, adding that pupils and students are to keep away from stadiums across the region.

“I am sending this as a strong warning, there shall be no opening of markets, shops, supermarkets, schools on 1st October 2020, everybody in Biafraland must be indoor that day.

“Fulani terrorists have a deadly plan to kill on that day. Don’t you release your kids to come out to march for Fulani terrorists.

“Stay in your house, cook isi ewu, nkwobi or anything and enjoy with your family but don’t come out.
