Chelsea manager Frank Lampard could be working on a borrowed time amid reports that the club is considering firing him if results don’t improve.
Lampard has come under pressure over the last few days amid a string of poor results. The London side has only managed one win in the last four Premier League matches.
The Saturday thrashing by Arsenal could be a sign of bad things to follow. If Lampard will not turnaround the club’s fortunes, starting with Monday clash against Aston Villa, then the club’s record goalscorer could be on his way out of the club. But who will succeed him?

According to German newspaper “Bild”, immediate former Paris Saint Germain coach Thomas Tuchel is lined up to replace Lampard.
The 47-year German was fired last week with former Tottenham Hotspurs Manager Mauricio Pochetino lined up as his replacement.
It is reported that Tuchel is not prepared to take a sabbatical and moving to West London could just be a matter of days.
The former Borusia Dortmund manager is considered an elite coach having managed some of the biggest names in football including Neymar and Kyllian Mbappe.
If he moves to London, Tuchel will be united with his fellow countrymen led by summer signings Kai Havertz, Timo Werner and Antonio Rudiger.
